Internships: real ministry, real mentoring

Interns serve alongside experienced leaders in evangelism, university outreach, children's ministry, digital content, discipleship and new church work. You will learn to share your faith, serve on a ministry team and receive regular coaching while living in Taiwan.

An internship can fit a gap year, university internship credit, a season of ministry training, or a longer time of discernment. If you are teachable and willing to serve, we would love to talk.

Applicants from outside the United States are welcome to ask. We work within Taiwan's visa rules.

1Find a sponsor: a local church, university or seminary that knows you and stands behind you.

2Talk with us about timing, visas, fundraising and current openings. The length of your internship is set together with Mission Taiwan leadership.

3Apply online. Interns raise part of their own budget, and we walk you through it.

Short-term teams

More than 70 teams from 24 churches and ministries, nearly 500 people in all, have served in Taichung. Teams help with evangelism, English ministry, children's programs and campus outreach, always alongside a local church.

We plan each trip around what the church here needs, and help your team get ready before you fly.
